Director's Note
I manifest a world where each child would grow up freely, equally and with dignity. The child with special needs would be accepted, empowered and survive like others.
My humble intent is to break the myth that the child with special needs would go to a school which is only run by the parents of special children. Keeping that in mind I have trained a team of psychologists, special educators, therapists, social workers who work with the children with Autism and other developmental delays from the age of 2 years to 18 years. With academics they are provided training in different areas .
‘Anubhuti’ has been able to offer the children a “second home” in the name of school and Day care centre where smile and comfortability matters.
They say our soul decides the purpose of taking birth in the world . I dream to fulfil the purpose wholeheartedly each moment.

Chandrani Dhole
(Parent)“Anubhuti has played a pivotal role in my son Abhijay’s life. When Abhi joined Anubhuti he was just 2.5 years old. He was diagnosed with ASD and ADHD. We, as parents were very much devastated, stressed, depressed and anxious as to what should we do to help our son in the best possible way to cope with this situation. That’s when Madam Gopa Mukherjee and her team of professionals spread out their helping hands towards Abhi. After joining Anubhuti, Abhi has improved a lot. Earlier he used to just babble meaninglessly. Now he can repeat single words though not always appropriately but his will to speak has increased 100%. He loves his friends at Anubhuti and likes to spend time with them and play with them. His ability to comprehend is much better. He follows instructions well. His socialisation and communication skills have also improved. Looking forward to more and more positive changes in my son’s life. Kudos to the team Anubhuti. Hope they shall help many more children to change their life in a positive manner just as they are doing with Abhijay. Best wishes to Madam Gopa Mukherjee and the team of Anubhuti.”

(Parent)“To me anubhuti means extra care, a home beyond home. We can know what is happening in the classroom. Anubhuti maintains transparent relation and good communication with parents. Teachers describe a student with his strength which motivates parents. Anubhuti has a good team of special educators, psychologists, therapists and social workers. Children learn with fun and they love the place. If we follow the instructions of teachers the children’s improvement is clearly observed. At least I have noticed it in my child’s case. My son Swaprava goes to Anubhuti for individual and group session. I have been to different places and therapists for my son in and around Kolkata. Since I started his session in Anubhuti I have decided not to go anywhere. I can notice my son’s improved socialisation and communication skill too after attending Group sessions in Anubhuti.”
